For the family abroad
Furnishing a house in Ghana, from anywhere in the world.
Building or furnishing a house in Ghana from the USA, UK or anywhere in the world used to mean wiring money into the unknown. We built our remote-ordering service for exactly this: published prices in cedis, everything in writing, photos from the workshop at every stage, and your home furnished and installed before your flight lands.
Why it works
No surprises — that's the whole service
Prices you can see from anywhere
Every piece on this site carries its price in Ghana cedis. What your cousin would be quoted at the showroom is what you see in London or Atlanta — no "diaspora price".
Everything in writing
Your invoice states each piece, timber, size, finish, price and lead time. Pay the 50% deposit by bank transfer; the balance is due only when you've seen photos of your finished furniture.
Photos from the bench
You'll see your timber, your frames mid-build and your finished pieces — the same view you'd get walking through the workshop.
Delivered & installed nationwide
Accra, Kumasi, Takoradi, the village house — we deliver, install and photograph everything in place. Thirty years of local roots means your project isn't resting on a stranger.

Shipping vs buying locally
Why buying in Ghana beats shipping a container
The maths
By the time furniture bought abroad has paid freight, duty, clearing and inland transport, a comparable handmade solid-wood piece built here usually costs less — and there's no six-week wait at Tema port.
The climate
Imported furniture is kiln-dried for foreign humidity. Ghana's rainy season finds every shortcut: veneers lift, boards cup, drawers stick. Our timber is dried here, for here.
The aftercare
If anything ever needs adjusting, the workshop that built it is on Spintex Road — not on another continent. Our structural warranty is five years.
Questions
Ordering from abroad — FAQs
Can I order furniture in Ghana from the USA or UK?
Yes — a large share of our orders come from the diaspora in the USA, UK and Europe. Browse the catalogue, message us on WhatsApp, and we handle everything from written quote to installation photos.
How much does it cost to furnish a house in Ghana?
As a working guide from our catalogue: a living room from about GH₵ 25,000, a dining room from GH₵ 27,000 and a main bedroom from GH₵ 28,000 — roughly GH₵ 80,000–150,000 for a well-furnished 3-bedroom home in solid handmade hardwood, depending on choices. See our full cost guide on the journal.
How do I pay from abroad?
Bank transfer in cedis (or the equivalent by arrangement): 50% deposit to start, balance on completion after you've approved photos of the finished pieces. Every payment is invoiced.
Can you furnish the whole house before I arrive?
That's our favourite kind of project. Send the floor plan and your dates; we design, build, deliver and install room by room, and send you the photos of the finished home before your flight.
